Celebrity Social Media Round-Up for March 10, 2020

Well friends, we made it. Lea Michele’s one year WEDDING anniversary has come! I guess, technically, it’s her husband’s anniversary too, whatever his name is. Does it even matter? This is a sacred celebration of the most bridal bride to ever exist: Lea. It’s only a year, but feels like much, much longer. You know how people have a birthday week, or birthday month and it is a hotly debated topic – how much is too much? I looked back at the PEOPLE coverage and while the magazine had the exclusive photos (that were all over Instagram), Lea did not score the cover. Instead, it was a story about The Bachelor. I want a three-part documentary of her publicist breaking that news to her.

Hugh Grant is a noted grump, but do you think he’s grumpy with Nicole Kidman? Yes, but in his usual charming way.

Who does Zach Braff look like here? A mix between Adam Driver and Dax Shepard and Ray Romano, or something. I can’t quite put my finger on it.

Could anyone have predicated how average the JLo and ARod engagement timeline has been? I thought the wedding would be quick, but I guess between the Super Bowl and Hustlers, she’s had a lot of work stuff going on. And a bigger factor is the kids, making sure they are all OK and taken care of and comfortable with it.

We know JLo loves love and believes in the forever of love, every single time, and you know what’s special about that? She convinces us that this is forever, too. She’s going into her fourth marriage (no judgement, I think she’s very glamorous) and there is no snark about her past. She is so focused on where she is, rather than where she’s been, that it makes everyone else focus on the present, too.

Justin Bieber has had to downsize tour venues in some secondary markets, and it could be that sluggish sales are due to the worry about attending large public events. Yesterday, Sarah wrote about the effect of Covid-19 on the film industry, and the music industry is feeling it as well. Coachella is expected to be postponed any minute and Stagecoach too (official confirmation of this is imminent). Then there’s the summer – Taylor Swift’s Lover festival, Glastonbury, Lollapalooza, Bonaroo, to name a few. The uncertainty could certainly be making people hesitant to buy tickets or commit to anything.

Katherine Schwarzenegger has written a book about forgiveness, and if you read it, can you let me know if there’s anything about her family in it? I was just talking to a friend about her the other day and it’s interesting that Joseph Baena, Arnold’s son who he fathered with a housekeeper when he was married to Maria Shriver, follows the Schwarzenegger kids on Instagram and none of them follow him. He did not attend Katherine and Chris Pratt’s wedding (reportedly, he was not invited). Joseph often likes/comments on their posts and they don’t respond. In 2019, Page Six ran a story with this quote from a source, “Why should she have a relationship with this kid? Joseph is the product of an affair that Arnold kept hidden for years! This was a deeply damaging and shameful situation that destroyed her family. I can’t say I blame her for not wanting to embrace this living reminder of that.” Well, yes, Arnold destroyed the family and he should be ashamed but this source sounds vindictive. Joseph didn’t do anything and, in fact, lost out on having a father for most of his life because of Arnold’s choices, while his mother was in a powerless position, dependent on the Schwarzeneggers for a job. So… who is Katherine gifting her forgiveness to? If you read it, let me know.
