Most of us can only dream of owning a gown that would have a place in Beyonce‘s wardrobe, but now celebrity stylists have assembled for a charity auction of luxury items that once belonged to A-list stars – at a fraction of the price.
Elizabeth Stewart who lives in Los Angeles, best known for styling famous faces including Cate Blanchett, Julia Roberts and Rebel Wilson, has partnered with a team of celebrity stylists from across the globe including London-based Elizabeth Saltzman and Monica Rose for a Chic Relief auction in collaboration with eBay.
The acution will raise money for the non-profit organisation Direct Relief’s efforts to support vulnerable people impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
Standout items include Azzi & Osta Replica Fishtail Dress worn by Beyonce to the Annual Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Party in January 2018, and a silver Cong Tri gown worn by Sandra Oh to the Vanity Fair Oscars Party in 2020.

Elizabeth announced the project on Instagram, alongside imagery of stars including Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and Sandra Oh wearing items that are up for grabs.
Revealing who has been involved in the project, she captioned the post: ‘I’m really excited to announce the launch of @chic_relief TODAY!. Many of us in the fashion industry feel helpless right now, so we got together to raise money for Covid Relief.’
She revealed that eBay, which is hosting the auction, will match all donations up to $1 million.
The timely auction running from May 17 to 27, features standout items such as the silver Cong Tri gown worn by Sandra Oh for the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
Elsewhere, the stylist have listed a black Azzi & Osta replica Fishtail dress worn by Beyoncé with a reserve price of $800 and a yellow Mary Katrantzou custom gown worn by Cate Blanchett, with a reserve price of $1,000.

In addition to red carpet outfits worn by stars including Kylie Minogue and Julia Roberts, the project has listed luxury leather goods, and 100 per cent of the profits will go to Chic Relief.
The latest project impressed fashion fans, eager to invest in items associated with an A-list name.
Responding to Elizabeth’s Instagram post, one person wrote: ‘So impressive that you got this together so quickly! Great cause’
